Human Biology[Lecturer]

This course is designed to provide Medical Laboratory Science students with essential knowledge about human biology; mainly structural anatomy and functional physiology of the body. Starting from the levels of organization and chemistry of life; the course will cover cells, tissues, organs and organ systems of human. It is aimed to familiarize students with the biology of human body so that they can easily pick more advanced pieces of information from the following courses such as Human Physiology.

Immunology [Lab Instructor]

This course covers the basic practical aspects of immunity, antigens, antibodies, various serological reactions, techniques and their applications in laboratory diagnosis of human diseases. Throughout the course, students learn to do different immunologic tests in a scientific manner. Moreover, the course focuses on enabling the students to correlate laboratory results with the patient's probable condition.

Introduction to Microbiology [Laboratory Part]

The practical sessions of this course are designed to enable students receive efficient practical training about the proper usage of the microbiology lab, equipment, supplies, and materials. Lab excises are designed in way to reinforce the concepts of the theoretical lectures and together give a comprehensive knowledge to the students about all fundamental topics related to Microbiology. This course provides solid background needed for future courses in the field of microbiology within the MLS curriculum such as medical bacteriology, medical virology, and medical parasitology.

Medical Bacteriology [Lab Instructor]

This course is designed to provide the students with potential skills and knowledge to conduct Bacteriological experiments in an efficient way. Diagnostic approach is the core of the lab sessions starting from very basic morphologies of bacteria and their colonies to advanced metabolic and enzymatic activity differences among them.

Talent Science [Instructor]:

The Talent Science and Technology Course is designed to share with students the basic of Economy, Critical Thinking, Mathematics, Sciences, Technology, and their life applications.  The course will prepare students to enroll in science and math courses for colleges: Science, Business and Engineering. Therefore, the course emphasizes learning through continued assessment for each subject. The course is 6-weeks long with 6 hours of instruction weekly. The curriculum is based on the Canadian model for the learning sciences, mathematics, and Technology for high school level.
