Positions Prior Joining KUST: Coordinator of Academic Programs at FAMU-FSU College of Engineering, Director of Kurdish Studies Program at Florida State University, Physics Instructor and Researcher at Florida A&M University and Florida State University. In addition, he is the founder of Badlisy Center for Kurdish Studies (US), Kurdish Studies Program at Florida State University (US), Badlisy Cultural Center (Kurdistan), American Society for Kurds (US) and Komar University of Science and Technology.

Published Books/Articles: He published, contributed or translated over 15 books and 10 scholarly papers and over 50 articles and interviews.
